Kili Wot #2 - FINALLY!! A finished build photo!!

...that grabbed my attention.

Collecting could have involved a bit of a trip out of my way after work one evening but as luck would have it I ended up finishing
just over 20 miles away; only to realise I'd left myself a 93 mile journey home! :shock:

Still, it now resides at Stevo Towers...

...and will be my next build up, 'cos I just lurve these frames

The original splatter paint is in pretty good nick...

...but it has to go, as this one is going to be proper Kili-Comp red.

I won't be keeping much besides the frame on this build; even these...

...will most likely find their way onto SWMBO's Stumpy, bar and all, as I already have some carbon thumbies winging their way from Spain

So, that's it for now; stripping it down and a trip to the powder coaters' will soon follow...

...BTW, this going to be a predominently black build so if anyone has a decent wheelset that is black rims on black hubs they'd like to donate
to the project in exchange for some Coin of the Realm drop me a PM as I've just missed out on a reasonably-priced Bontrager pair on eBay :x

Oh, and likewise if anyone wants the fork (my other being on the Kili Comp in my sig.)??

They were Saracen-made frames badged up as Carreras, same as the blue Wot in my sig...

Aren't they just, remarkably responsive and agile...

...if Kona had made an e-stay it would have ridden like these

I'm leaning towards LX as I want it predominently red and black; nearly bought a chainset of ebay earlier then realised I can use the one off my original cro-mega, so saved a bit there already.

I'm also hoping someone will have some black rims on LX hubs they want to sell...

Booking in my interest. I have now got a e stay kili again. Whoop!

Are those forks threaded? What is going on instead?

Yes, 1 1/8 threaded; being replaced with a colour matched P2 again as below, except in red this time...

...and the original fork off that frame is the one on my Kili Comp below...

...here fitted with a BBB steerer extender and Ahead stem.
