Is the end of summer always such a good hunting season? Just came across a third possible bike, in addition to the Pina (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=270202) and the Van Tuyl (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=270273). Also very large, this is a (what looks like 1980s) Reus, apparently with Campagnolo gruppo.

Would I be right in thinking that at just over £150 this might be a very solid deal?

Have just found out that the tubing is Aelle, which AFAIK is towards (at?) the lower end of the Columbus hierarchy at the time, so probably strong but not very light.

Don't dismiss Aelle.

I have a Concorde Astore made from Aelle R and it is relatively light and really very nice to ride, much more compliant than my Raleigh which is made of Reynolds 853.
