Who cares about the price or that he spelt the brake levers wrongly? I’m not gonna buy it either.

Anyway not really so much for a completely unique bike hand made and hand box-lined by a family instrumental in UK ‘roughstuff’ cycling - way before MTBs took off - wouldn’t you say?

I think you may have misinterpreted the tone of my post, it was intended to be light hearted.

Its a lovely bike, but I was amused that original sales receipt spelt Deore incorrectly.

No worries, didn’t mean to get on my high horse.

I think I’m just generally irked at high price mass produced single/limited-use new stuff (bikes but also generally) compared to hand crafted old stuff and it’s limited appreciation.

Just call me ‘gramps’
