And you can mount a front rack on a single eyelet - double eyelets were rare before the 80s, but tourists weren't
Wheels look good, probably worth £100 alone, and a 40 year old frame with good paintwork is quite rare.

You might be able to buy something as good for less, but it shouldn't really be that way. we should support a realistic (bargain) price, not push it down further.

I would say that, wouldn't i?
but I'd pay 150 happily for this if the owner wanted to sell it to us.

The galaxy probably needs an extra£100 spending on it to get it tourworthy, it's a bit scruffier and a bit lower quality components.

Also a good buy though.

I've bought bikes for a pound at auction. the price isn't always comparable - that galaxy isn't worth 50x what they were.
