Interchanging BB nds cups

I have a Shimano UN-51 BB in 113mm x 68mm, but I've lost the adjustable (NDS) cup for it. Are these cups interchangeable with other similar BBs? The original cup was steel, I might be able to find a spare plastic one off an old shimano BB. What are the chances one from another BB will fit?

Should be OK but 100% chance of perfect fit is a tad optimistic, metal cups are often thinner walled than plastic which means plastic might not fit that model. Only way is to try and see

Far from 100% in my experience, even with same brand. Needs to be snug, not loose or super tight, hope this helps!

plastic cups seem to work fine with other shimano BBs. Metal cups, so far, have worked too.
