Identify framenumber

Just found this frameset in the dumpster.
Disassembled all the nice parts but curious what brand it originally was.
Fork mentions Tange!
I'm sort of familiar with Gazelle and Koga but this frame does not look like it's one of them.

That is thought to be a Yamaguchi serial number.

Wow, very helpful.
Seems to that it is a Yamaguchi frame, produced in July 1980.
The list of known bikebrands that uses/used this frame brand seems endless though? .... Still, nice to learn some history.

Hard to say anything else about the frame, with just the two pictures above, but in general Japanese frames from that era tend to be well-built.

Any plans with it?

Plans? ... actually trying to sell it to make budget.
More into early 90's cross hybrides.

Thank you for the kind offer. Much appreciated. It would depend, however, very much on size and geometry. It would have to be in the 62-65cm range for me.
