Ibis Mojo

Proto2000

Retro Guru
My first real MTB and my fav. Bought from the racer who owned it, guy out of Palo Alto Ca, not far from me. My bikes before this were Raleigh's or Schwinn's, that level of bikes. Paint is original Team colors with the blue "teeth" which Team only had. Added street tires, riser bars and stem, Project 2 fork years ago so I would not trash it, irreplaceable frame.

What a wonderful looking bike , as are the others you have shared ,but I have a weakness for an ibis .

Would you advise ridged forks ? I have a frame I’m building a 95 mojo I think , I have bombers but can’t make up my mind always ridden ridged , it’s not easy to find suspension adjusted forks in the uk but always preferred , want the best ride what are your thoughts , would appreciate any advice .

Just swapped a Bomber in for the Project 2 and some CK wheels for the XTR that were on it. What's the better look for the bike? I found that 2.2 tires fit very nicely in the rear with plenty of clearance, I think 2.3 will work as well.

I have a mojo and rode it w/ a Bomber. Also a rigid fork when the zoke died (i didn´t bother to buy parts and rebuild it). It is way more fun for me w/ the susp fork. Sure, i don´t like fork maintenance nor it´s short life span but it let me ride fast over bumpy stuff. The frame was designed for a susp fork.
