I think the '90's are having a moment.

"Burrito Slayers" are all the rage out here.

Which is basically the name for any old budget MTB you can find, ideally a Rockhopper of course, fitted with a high rise stem and wide risers, obligatory Oury grips, a rack, and maybe some bike bags, if you want to look like you're into camping and the outdoors. You ride them to the flea market, or maybe the natty wine shop.

Basically it's the bike posted here but in recycled/repurposed form. I'm not mad at them, per say, they look fun-enough, but they're most definitely a trend. And, as with all trends, I'm not surprised to see new companies getting in on the new is old is old is new again act.

Have at it, but it's not for me.

Wow, ive got all those parts in a pile in the corner of my workshop.....including the little front rack and a 92 rockhopper frame and a 55o stem ( yes thats right!)......im obviously sitting on a hipster fortune!
