Me too! I reckon every continent that's ever seen a bike has some kind of historic group of nutters on two wheels!
Let's face it since man got bike man rode bike and rode whenever and wherever he liked! So you could say ATB has been around since the birth of bikes! I mean when bikes first appeared even the days of wooden boneshakers there weren't really any roads as we know it....so I guess they were the first gravel bikes and riders!
Obviously very British so all done in dapper clothing and upon refined gentlemanly bikes the "rough stuff fellowship" is worth checking out for a bit of an alternative !
Do love the klunker movement though hippies doing bad ass rock n roll stuff bit like the early days of surfing! But like MTB when did surfing begin? Jeez theres history that suggested it was banned by missionaries because only Jesus could walk on water
