You really should not use nitromors on it as the solvents attack the resin. While you can often get away with it if you are quick, it is still attacking the resin matrix and weakening it.
The best is a glassfibre paint stripper - usually marine suppliers carry it. This is less aggressive on the matrix.
If you intend to show off the carbon, you MUST clearcoat it with a UV-resistant varnish. Sunlight otherwise will attack the matrix, which will weaken it severely and also cause it eventually to go milky.
A marine 2-pack varnish such as SP Systems Ultravar is the best way to finish it. Beware though, this needs specialist handling. It's not cheap either at £80 for 1.5 litres.
