How much would you pay for the most beautiful hub?

Does exactly what any other hub does, probably heavier than a Hope lightweight.
Would it make you happier riding with it on your wheel? You won't be any faster.

It’s quite light but not especially so. But it’ll save an inch off each spoke - so 32”/36” of spoke is quite a weight saving.
The massive flanges give a wide spoke angle as well, so with the short spokes they build into a very stiff wheel.

It’s the rear that’s incredibly rare. Other than in adverts I’d never even seen a photo of one, then after years of looking one turned up on flickr. Speaking to others, it seems to be the only production example ever seen

Shorter spokes won't make that much difference to the weight. 32" of spoke is roughly 3 average length spokes for 26" wheels, weighs about 12-20g depending on the type of spoke.

There's probably always been a market for a flashy showpiece.

Even before the bike was invented! Not strong, not light, not cheap, choose 3.
Now those make me want to ride a horse wearing chaps.🤠
