Holdsworth and nervex pro lugs

Does anybody know whether spear points were always added to nervex pro lugs on when used on holdsworth frames?

Are you referring to WF Holdsworth or The Holdsworthy Company who bought the name in the late 1950s.

I have been trying to identify a frame which I believe may be a holdsworth. The classic lightweights website mentions that holdsworth used nervex lugs on the cyclone and hurricane models in the late 50's which had spearpoints added. I was wondering whether that was always the case.

Suggest you post some images of your frame, it is a challenge to identify anything without images, in advance of this I ask why do you think the frame might be a Holdsworth ?

Tricky to use the fork crown as an ID. The Vagner style was used by a multitude of builders from Mercian to Gazelle
