Retro Newbie
Reeeeeeeeet, only just found this place and ready i feel like a kid again!!

So many bikes that i drooled over as a kid and remember from back in the day.

quick bike history i guess;

Raleigh street burner
Raleigh Marauder - first proper bike
Emmelle cheeta - broke once i discovered proper mountain biking

Diamond back topanga ( i think it was a 92 or 04 model from super cycles in notts) - x-lite bars then club roost go-fast (with the brace), club roost stem, sachs wavey twist grips, onza rip and rail tyres, mavic rims on stx hubs cant remember which rims though hand built from merlin, suntour levers, girvin forks (not the vectors). mks spd's.

Marin Nail Trail (1996), girvin forks, azonic dh bars, continental tyres. came fully rigid with white industries cranks.

Marin B-17 (199:cool: - stratos pro-helix rear shock (after i blew 2 shockworks units) azonic bars, planet x cnc'd stem, d521's on deore hubs, smr jump seat saddle, irc missiles then onto tioga fat 66 downhill, yeti grips, DMR cheiften cranks, dmr chain guide (bloody double rolled tin foil!!) 24seven flame ring, dmr v8 pedals.

Merlin malt 2 hardtail (2002) - fox float r forks, hayes hfx xc carbon rear, hayes mag dh front, fsa stem, hope headset, hope seat clamp, race face diabolus bars, odi loc on grips.

Specialized big hit expert (2003 i think). 24 seven fat boy cranks, 24 seven flamer ring, mrp chain guide, race face diabolus bars, hayes hfx xc carbon rear brake, hayes mag dh front, 24 seven seat, hope pro2 on sun rhyno lite rims

Giant Glory 1 (200:cool: - race face diabolus bars

all gone now but not forgotten :(

currently snow boarding and motorbikes have my attention, but im starting to miss riding

will try and point one of my mates this way, he has retro bike porn for you guys!! he had a GT sts for a bit (well till they got recalled!!) currently has a GT zasker circa 96 i think that he has just completed a retro spirited rebuild on (sorry he hasnt got the classic rock shox judy dh's on the front) and an original santa cruz super-8 with gen 1 shivers (when he bought it he had the pace monsters on it but he bent them).

Welcome

Watch your wallet

And decide now which of your other two hobbies you're going to give up once you get a taste of xtr loveliness

Enjoy yourself
