Help with id of frame.

Hi, I been trying to figure out this bike frame.Any ideas?
The welds look well made.
The cable guides look heffty.

The A on the front looks like the American logo.

Great frame, indeed most probably American. Same logo as well. There should be a serial that should help identify which model and year build. It might be a Comp Lite or an M16.

3 stands for 1993, C stands for Comp Lite, 7 stands for 17” and the rest is the serial number.
