Help identifying age of klein

Hi

Just bought a klein attitude frame on eBay. Seller said it is a 1999, but from looking at old brochures it looks like a 2001.

It has internal cable routes with the gear cable on the downtube, vbrake only, the dropout is not replacable.

Can any Klein gurus tell from the above description?

I would date that as 1996/7

2001 seems to be on the money. Has had a respray by the looks and new decals.
