Help deciphering old sticker in Marin Palisades 1991?

Hi team!

I just got in my hands a pretty Marin Palisades from (I think) 1991, thanks to a keen retro fellow. The frame has a sticker like so (see pic), with the only words I can decipher being "hot soap".

Just curious as to what the whole message would have said. Guessing something to do with the washing... Would anyone know?

From memory it was a warning not to use aggressive detergent on the Zolatone finish, just hot, soapy water.

Yep....as basically it went all flat and came off if you scrubbed it too hard.

It was also porus, so in the uk climate moisture got through the surface....stupid stupid idea.
