Has anybody fitted Shimano

Doesn't work.
10 speed road is compatible with 9 speed mtb stuff. So you'll need a 9 speed mtb shifter and 9 speed cassette.

Or start mucking around with spacers and ratio adjusters.

No idea.

Probably best off having a long look at jteks homepage.

Or get some flat bar road shifters.

thanks for the advice.

If you used the latest Tiagra 10 road mech, it has the same leverage as the 110 speed road and 10 speed MTB.

Might help you out :)

:D a good read if a bit techie for me. As i've ordered 105 10 speed rear pair just now decide which mtb shifter to use. This adds extra to my build. It would be easy to just fit all SRAM etc. I also looked at Sunrace as it claims to work with Shimano. And they make thumbies but only up to 9.
Thanks all :D

If you've not bought shifters yet, you can get flat bar road shifters in 10 speed.

Shimano SL-R780 is the part number.
The tiagra 10 speed ones won't work, unless you get tiagra mechs. Or mtb mechs.

And FWIW the few times I've come across those jtek type things for changing pull ratio, they've never worked properly. And need endless tweaking.
