Bad Back forces sale of my hardtails -- starting with this carbon XC race bike / fast trail bike weighing in at less than 22 Lbs.
As I can now only ride full sus this isn't being used so it has to go. Mindfull it cost about 5k I'm asking 1500 GBP NOW 1350 Now 1300GBP to include EU wide tracked insured postage and PP fees. I plan to reduce the price by 50 pounds each week until it sells (or gets too cheap).
I built this up with the best components that I could afford and has never had a wet ride.
FRAME Kuota K29 Comp with Kuota headset, seat clamp & top cap. Seat tube is 39 C to C, 45 C to top, Top tube 58 or 57 virtual. It fits me at 5' 10' / 11" perfectly. Internal routing.
WHEELS Straight and true Mavic SSC Crossmax SLR, UST with white hubs, Shod with 29 X 2.3 Specialized Fast Track Grid, new in June on the front and Vittoria Saguaro 29 X 2.2 on the rear. Tubeless with the sealant topped up last month. and foam inserts fitted in March. With a 15mm axle on the front and 142 X 12 at the rear (non Boost).
FORK Fox Factory Series with 32 mm stancions, CTD settings and 100 mm travel. It has Kashima sliders with the tiniest mark at the very top which is too small to picture and couldn't interfere with the performance. Straight steerer too.
GROUPSET Sram 12 speed Eagle GX, new in 2019, I fitted a 28T Superstar Components NW oval chainring in June, (50 miles max).
BRAKES New in 2018 Shimano XT 8000 with new pads and spares too.
THE REST Bontrager Evoke saddle with carbon rails and matching Bontrager carbon seat pin, weighing 290 gms for both. Carbon Toseek 760 X 31.8 bars, Specialized 60 mm stem, I can fit a longer stem if your back is better than mine.
EXTRAS Two Bontrager xXx cages (35gms/ pair), Sram 12 speed joining link, Shimano brake pads and as this will be my last 29er a 29 X 2.2 Conti X King together with loads of unused tubes.
It has had two small cracks in the seat tube for some years now and these haven't got any worse and some small marks on the top tube from brake handles. On the positive side there isn't any chain suck.
