On 28 Jun 2005 Retrobike's first user registered, and so it began...
...6 years later we have 15,534 registered users and 1,156,896 articles & topics, a vast resource of catalogues from virtually all of the manufacturers and component makers stretching way back into the history of cycling, not to mention the collective knowledge of over 15,000 users.
Retrobike has grown into arguably the best retro resource on the internet thanks to every single one of it's users, moderators and of course The Guv'nor
Older - Faster - Wiser - Drunk Guv'nor
More and more riders are turning up to the events organised by the Area Event Co-ordinators and their deputies, these events showcase some of the best retro bikes, trails & events around the world and are a brilliant way to get to see those bikes you lusted after years ago (whilst enjoying the excellent company of fellow retrobikers and of course plenty of cake)
Reprobates and retrobikes...
With the addition of the Retrobike National Event Series sponsored by Bikefood the events have grown to over 40 riders on a regular basis, guess it must be the lure of Spencer our resident brewer's beer
If you go down to the woods today...
Speaking of beer, would you all please raise your glass to everyone who has made the forum what it is today!
Three cheers for retrobike!
Happy 6th Birthday Retrobike!
P.S. Thanks John for giving us our very own retro corner of the internet
