It's a trail clearing device that screws into the crank arm in place of a pedal. Unsheathing it reveals a ninja sharp blade which will scythe through overgrown foliage, small children and dog walkers as you cycle. It can even be used to test the self sealing tyre properties of any gravel bikes that venture too close

Given the lack of bananna for scale, I'm assume it's a 12x3 box section which makes that thread something like an m42. So obviously it's a wind turbine flange bolt checker.

Combined derailleur hanger alignment and single speed conversion tool.

1. Screw threaded bit into hanger.
2. Smack the square bit around again until derailleur hanger is straight ...or shears off.
3. Say "I meant to do that."
4. Convert to single speed using eccentric hub.
5. Hang tool up using convenient cable loop.

I hope to use it sat, alloy post in trek carbon frame.
The frame isn't strong enough for any more torque than we've given it

Caustic can be your friend, but you know the kind of friend who gets a bit aggro after a few pints, makes some bad acquaintances and starts mouthing off at security?
Best avoided really.

And any other reactive or penetrative fluid might have unpredictable effects on the resin
