really a nice hanger, but how does it handle mtn. bikes with handlebars?

Its fine - it struggles a bit with my wide on-one mary bars (wheel doesn't hang straight) .... but fine with my other bike with Easton EC90 monkeylites ....

Forgive my ignorance, but how does the rear cable hanger/stop/whatever-you-call-it work? Presumably parts are missing?

Looks like a simple chainring bolt that goes through an cable hanger/stop. Only needed when using Cantilever brakes.
