wow - you brits are taxed to death.
Anyway - good luck with the bike - I completely understand the feeling as I wouldn't mind knowingly paying more for something I have been chasing.
The operative word is "knowingly". Sometimes people throw in unreasonably high bids and then develop buyer's remorse.
--- on a related note - does anyone know where I can pick up accurate 1994 xizang decals? (The orange lettering - not the blue/yellow colors). I feel guilty i've had the frame sitting in a box for years now.
Thanks Ill be breaking it down as soon as i get it and parting out anything not wanted... Its the most I've ever paid for a bike... I bought 2 fully built Lobos (1 Nos and the other 8/10) shipped to me for $800. If i didn't have my best mate in the states to do a help out theres no way i would of got them for the price... Its the 1st bike I've bought in the UK. I won't be doing that again... There are definitely amazing deals to be had over there as long as the shipping is minimum and duty is at it minimal. Also the shipper you use is very important. Some of them open the boxes and check on the net what the bike is worth (If that happens your in trouble $$$).
