want some forks but dont want to spend too much as the bike itself was only £30 and im mostly only going to use it to ride to college.

also looking for a GT quick release seatpost clamp, decent but cheap bike lock like Kryptonite brand.

any idea what type of forks you need?

ahead or threaded?
1" or 1 1/8"?
rigid or suspension + (if possible) axle to crown measurement?

just that I'm Manc based and have some budget forks here

If you're riding it to college I'd get a bolt-up seatpost clamp!

i dont quite understand what the whole threaded thing actually means,
it hasnt been delivered yet so will check when it arrives which is soon hopefully. suspension forks

threaded is where the stem bolts into the fork, ahead is where the stem bolts around the fork
