GT LTS with a bewildering build.

People are actually bidding on it.

It always tickles me when people selling used bikes at Xmas write “perfect Xmas present”

Likely most bidders want a few bits from it. It’s a cheap way of getting some spins if you pay sub £500 for whole thing and sell the rest

I have to say, it’s not that bad🙄 of course, some tasteful things like if the drivetrain was only black and gold with the blue frame, it’d look pretty good if I was building would ditch the spins and go for spinergy(if that’s period?) the xo gripshifters never looked good so I would swap towards triggers. red forks look alright, but not great, would swap them for some gold legged ones to match the drivetrain. Longer stem (silver) gold flats and black grips. Billy basic yellow lettering maxxis would do the job on this enough, some lovely gold raceface cranks, and then top it off with a flite that has custom gold lettering on it.

Now that, would look the business.

Now, it doesn’t, but I would still ride it happily. There’s nothing wrong with a bike that just functions well, no matter how bad it looks.

Definitely a 'dog's breakfast' build, with a lot of good bits that could be repurposed. And the frame looks nice.

I think it's a great recipe for getting noticed for safety's sake, kind of like wearing blaze orange when hunting.
Only a blind automobile driver wouldn't see that bike a mile away, but he could still hear where all the laughter is coming from.
