GT Lobo Seatpost Size?

Hi Guys!
Im building myself a GT Lobo, its nearly done but i need a seatpost... I know the 2000 model came with a Tompson which is what i want to get.
Trying different posts at work i got it as 31.0 but Tompson dont make this size. My 30.9 from my Corsair fits ok but its a tad loose...

Any Lobo owners out there know the true size? or do i have to use a shim :?

Really?! I tried a 31.0 and its a snug fit, theres no way a 31.8 is getting in there
