Hi all,

Yet another new member here, near enough. Trying to get back into riding, and back in shape, after too long a while! As soon as I re-discovered riding I immediately looked into getting some of the bikes that used to be on posters on the wall ten+ years ago into the garage. After trawling eBay, this place and a small amount of patience I've now got two Konas - a rather sexah little '96 Koa commuter and a brute of a '99 Stab DeeLux.

Posters realised, it occurred to me that all my riding buds have upped sticks and gone to live in other corners of the country, leaving me with no-one to get back into the sport with and a big-ass DH bike with nowehre to ride. This needs to be rectified.

Does anyone know any good clubs / riding spots around Wallasey, Wirral for a ludicrously unfit rider to get back in shape and in touch with the sport again? Looking for trail / tame DH stuff maybe? I can drive but don't have easy access to a car so the closer the better.

Thanks muchly!
-Mark

Hello and welcome aboard, Llandegla has a great skills area and bits of downhills to practice on, if theres one thing I like about this trail centre its that its great for learning and refreshing bike skills,
Lee.

Welcome, Mark. I too am just getting back in to the scene & I'm really enjoying it too. Yes, I'm ancient (56) and not very fast but I love it and want to do a lot more!
Regards,
Joe.
