Green tyres on EBAY? what the eff are these?

BITD - about 1996 - these were available in blue, yellow, red and green. They loosely replicated the smoke/dart pattern and wore out quickly.

Not a 'high end' tyre either. Got an old MBUK in storage with them in...
 
they were rubbish cheap crappy awful load of old toss that were about £12 each. I had a blue pair and a red pair.
 
But now they are desirable NOS onza marked tyres. :D . Just look on porcs.
Had ones back to 90's because were cheaper than panaracers and
michelins and must say they were awful on wet surface.
Actually, even dangerous for my life.
And now they cost fortune... now that's silly as well.
