The rear has a Sachs Power disc brake, it must have dedicated mounts on the frame as those brakes used a particular fitting (well, I guess most disc brakes at that time had different "standards"!), pretty cool how the Magura rim brake lever is operating the disc caliper though
For the Rob Warner Bike that carried JMC's ashes in 95 the pedals are wrong, front wheel is wrong, forks are wrong, seatpost is wrong, chain device (long one from chainstay) is wrong, brake lever is wrong
This could be a Titley or Mortimer bike, not Peaty or Rob Warner which would be the grail
Also the Saracen Team bikes would never have had a Sintesi decal on them
They guy that's got states he got it directly from Rob the bike through out the season has been changed I have seen 3 different types of forks on it in pics 2 seat post s 3 different brake set ups, I have spoke to Mr CRUD who as give me some info on the frame which I can tell if it's the one., also sent a email to Paul Stanforth to to ask,
The for leg crowns seem to be correct but the legs are a different colour, the rear mech is set up like Rob used to have it, in you bet it ran disk at the back and magura at the front the bars seem correct. Did saracen ever mass sell these frames
I talked to Rich Warner a couple of years ago about a guy who was selling one that claimed to be Robs - he showed it to Rob who said he never sold it and that it was not his bike, I'm 99% sure its this one....
I've asked Andrew Titley what he thinks as he was on the team with Rob / Steve / Helen Mortimer and a few others
The team was Saracen Coors and there are no Coors decals on this....
