Gios Frame

Hi all,

I Have been looking for an old Gios Super Record for a while. They are difficult to come by, particularly in my size.

Then saw this on eBay:

I was wondering what your first impressions are about authenticity and value?

From my research it looks genuine but what do I know. The original decals are not all present but then there could be any number of reasons for this.

Ther is also quite a lot of touch up paintwork in a darker blue. I suppose this could conceal serious corrosion?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rob

My concern, what has happened to the forks, which are part of the frame.
When I was a retailer a frame had forks, headset and normally bottom bracket .
Long ago, but now *I keep seeing frames for sale which have lost important components.

Yes, it looks genuine but there looks to be a crack in the downtube near the gear lever boss.
Maybe the lack of forks is due to a front end collision.

Mark.
