Giant Road bike

Retro Newbie
Hi all, this is my Giant road bike. Bought a few months ago.
I really am not sure of its age, even Giant UK cannot identify it.
It is really nice to ride.
Only thing I need to change is a brake lever, I'm looking for a dual pull due to a disability.

Do you mean operating both brakes with one lever? Problem Solvers has this handy gadget (not to be confused with the other version they make for operating one brake with two levers)

That's a neat idea.

A friend of mine had two cables somehow squeezed into one cable nipple.

Yes, that is just right , thanks. :D
I've recently returned to cycling after thirty years. I had a Mafac twin pull lever on my bikes, can't seem to find anything like it to suit a road bike now.

Like these old Giants. This looks very much like an early 90s Peloton. I believe Giant used to make their own steel tubes in house and were the only manufacturer to do so.

As Muz has said That does looks like a neat and subtle gizmo - I’d be interested to know how well it works as like you I too have a few challenges in that department.
