Get a grip

I like Ritchey's foam grips but these days most of my builds, retro and non-retro all have various ergonomic lock-on grips as I prefer the easy removal - and comfort. Retro grips unless NOS isn't really my cup of tea

Can still get hold of Odi Attacks new, so they tend to go on most of my builds. Like the Ritchey foam WCS grips too.

Every set of those new Ritchey grips I’ve fitted has split whilst in storage. Any original set I’ve got has not…
Thumbs up for ATTACK grips if you can find them 👍

Tend to use lock ons on retro and new builds. It's one of the few areas on modern bits you can still get anno colours to match retro parts, 3verything else is almost too generic these days, aside from perhaps chain rings, bolts, ferrules and disc hose clamps. And pedals, headsets, oh, that's still a fair amount of anno.

Ritchey WCS are ODIs are my go to as well. Frankly thankful they still make them.

That said, I do have a few sets of NOS grips too. Reluctant to use em though.

I'm a recent convert to ESI silicone grips. Most comfortable grips I've every used. Previously I'd used ODI Attack and Ritchey foam. Onza Porc and Yeti BITD.

I'm with you. I have been running ESI grips on all my modern bikes for a few years now. Before that ODI Attacks were my go to grips but ESI are as you quite rightly say the most comfortable ever. They also wouldn't look too out of place on old bikes either.
