Time enough, true. But Rob may be right, the state of a bag made in the 70s could be hopeless. The Carradice @The History Man came up with looked pretty worn too.

I'm just a bit shocked by the prices. A 100 euro bag what is not even a vintage one, for using it only on some sunny days.. for that money you can buy complete bikes...

I know. I would not have considered these if it wasn't for the bike. Those leather ones for 50 are nice though. One for the saddle and another for the handlebar.

Apparently the quality is not what it used to be, with saddles anyway. You just pay for the name.

I only use leather saddles. I have one Brooks, a Blb and a Gyes.
