I like the look of a saddle bag. Am a big fan of racks but not on this one

Yes, but the catalog pic is black

About the touring thing. It doesn't really have all the braze ons for racks. It is described in the catalog as a bike for long distances. I consider it an audax type bicycle, light but fully equipped.

Yep. Although without braze ons for bottle holders I was thinking a double cage on the handlebar
