For sale is this beautiful 1980 60cm (centre-to-centre) Gazelle Champion Mondial 753 frame.
This Reynolds 753 "Champion Mondial" model was top of the range and the best that money could buy from Gazelle at the time.
This frame is fitted with a beautiful Campagnolo Super Record headset and the correct pinch style black Campagnolo dropout adjuster screws fitted to Campagnolo road dropouts. Also featured is a NOS Gazelle head badge.
The British thread bottom bracket shell is stamped "753" and "3244146", dating it at 1980.
Braze ons: two sets of bottle bosses, three top tube cable stops, twin down tube gear lever bosses, BB cable guides, seat stay chain hanger, race number boss and a chain stay stop.
This frame is built for non allen key type brakes and has the classic Gazelle wrap-over seat stay top fitting that looks fabulous on the Gazelle frames of this era. Rear drop out spacing is 126mm and measures 57cm centre-to-centre on the top tube.
It has been superbly renovated to the highest standard by Bob Jackson Cycles of Leeds, England.
