Hello, I'm having a sort out and and I have a British Eagle Volcanic Mountain Bike that has never been used. I got this some time ago off a friend thinking I could either break it for the parts for a retro build but never got round to it.
The bikes spec is
Reynolds 501 tubing
18 " frame size
Shimano Exage 300 LX group set
The bike is original apart from the plastic MTB pedals I put on it.
The seat needs replacing as the material is coming away from the plastic but this has happened while in storage.
There is some light rust marks on the down tube from storage I think and also some of the stickers are flaking on the seat down tube (see picture) and also on the rear stay. Please bear in mind this bike is and been in storage so it has some light marks.
This bike is good for a collector or if someone wants the groupset for a retro build and this was fitted to early Marins Orange etc
I'd prefer the bike to be collected and cash on collection or I can posted the bike by parcel force 48hr to Uk mainland only for a cost.
I would like £150 for the bike and the postage cost is £25
