Old School Grand Master
It's not a gravel bike, its a "non travel enduro drop bar cross 700c 1 by bike" which is a very niche market right now but I promise is the next big thing.
Started as a karma fram from @dablk from this here board. It had been molested before he gotnhisbmitts on it and was a purple ish frame woth a few bits like a head set and seat post and clamp.
i intended to build it with a 3 speed nexus hub, but that didnt go well, so we wound up with 9 glorious speeds delivered nicely via a lx mech and a bar end shifter.
The wranglers had a discussion abut the forks, which was ignored but I may change them in the end. Everything else was from the parts box, except a cable.
So it got built to make sure it all worked OK. After passing that test and me straightening then mech hanger it got stripped. First woth stripper then with sandblasting because it turns out that it was grey underneath, not everywhere though.
Then it was prime, colour, wet sand, decals and rebuild. Needs new bar tape (pink) and 38c tyres.
Rather happy with it.
