For me I HATED full sussers with a passion until I got a good modern one and its truly superb, the fox rp23 propedal shock and horst link back end rides awesome. Never going back (I think)

Yep, a good modern FS is pretty awesome. Hardtails are quick, and you can ride similar things, but the right XC sus bike makes things really fun!
No horst for me though.

I really think it depends on what you're doing.

My fully rigid steel single speed is a sweet play bike - screaming round town, hopping steps and short blasts of off-road charging.

My full suspension trail bike is the BEST fun in the woods, it flys over everything and the grin on my face is huge!

So I'm with speedplay on this one...

as I'm Dutch I never really figured out why to pay so much xtra cash for 60mm of travel when you have allready 500mm in your arms and legs :roll:

I only have tree bikes: a full, a front suspension and a rigid, all are in one category, XC-marathon, enduro-free(yes the HT) and XC.
