This was going to be my winter project, but following some major surgery & a long spell convalescing I have ben told in a no uncertain terms by my doctor that off roading is no longer viable. So here we have a GF cake 1 circa 2000's paintwork in good order, no dents on frame or damage to carbon fibre rear arms, manitou swinger shock & manitou platinum forks apear to function as they should. Its only let down is the currently fitted alivio groupset which I had planned to replace with some xtr octolink cranks & lx 8 sp shifters that I had in the shed, the plan was then to source anything else from forum or ebay sales. The project as it stands owes me £290 which I would like to recoup, that includes the bike as shown in pics together with xtr cranks as pic, also incl a pair of lx shifters (not shown), shock pump & some spare pace 8sp chain rings.
