I have to cut down on my on-going projects, so I have almost a full Campagnolo C-Record / Record 8 speed group for sale. Most parts are from a bike that was built in 1994, ridden for about 2000 miles, and then put away in storage, so they are almost as good as new. I have many more photos available (too many to put them all here), so please ask if you want to see more! I have tried to describe everything correctly, but if I’ve made any mistakes in the descriptions then please let me know!
Prices include postage to UK/Europe (from Spain). If anyone wants more than one thing then just let me know as postage for multiple items is cheaper than for individual stuff. Everything will be sent by registered post and insured against loss.
Thanks, Andy
1. C-Record chainset, 170mm, 53/41 rings. All original bolts. There is LOTS of life left in the rings. All threads are fine. There is however some heel rub on each crank, and the right crank has quite a lot of light scratches. They are not immediately noticeable, and may polish out quite easily. Both logos are in good condition. 80 GBP. SOLD
3. Record 8s rear mech. As far as I can tell, it is model number RD-01RE. In perfect condition, if it wasn’t for a crack in the main body where the mech is bolted to the frame. It will still work, but may crack all the way through at any time. Perfect for a non-riding show bike, or for spares – all parts other than the main body are as good as new. 15 GBP. SOLD
4. 8s Ergo levers. I believe them to be second generation, due to the aluminium bodies, rounded lever tips and pattern on the levers. Perfect working order, with hoods in excellent condition. There is a light scrape down the outside of the LH lever, and on the black body just above the lever. The scratch on the lever is not too noticeable, the scratch on the body should touch up OK. 125 GBP. SOLD
8. Delta brake calipers. I believe these to be either 4th or 5th generation Deltas due to the black O-rings, boots and tyre guides, and the redesigned internal lever mechanism (introduced with Gen. 4 I think). All pads are original and have lots of life left – the rears appear to be practically unused. The internal mechanisms are clean and work perfectly; there still appears to be clean, original factory grease in there. No scratches on the underside. The only negative points are some very small scratches on one side of the rear caliper (barely noticeable), and one of the logos on the covers is faded (the other logo is perfect). 225 GBP. SOLD
9. C-Record headset. 1”, English threaded. Perfect condition, absolutely no wear on the races. 60 GBP. SOLD
