Front Mech for a TA Cyclotourist triple

Feature Bike
I'm running a TA Triple set up on my Raleigh Randonneur, but am having trouble finding a front mech that doesn't foul the crank arm.

There are a fair few web references to these TA chainsets having a narrow gap between chainring and crank, but I haven't found a reliable solution as to which specific mech to go for.

I'm thinking Simplex or Huret but which ones?

Has anyone got any experience of a mech that definitely works?

Cheers

I have a Stronglight chainset that is similar. I have found most older mechs without the more modern kinks and bends will work. Eg I have an old Campag Record on a 28/38/48 chainset.

Thanks chaps. I bought a sweet Suntour XC item that I thought would do but it has a slight step at the front which is enough to put things out. A Sachs number and an 80s Shimano Deerheadish thing won't play either.

I'll hunt out something with a super flat and parallel cage.

It looks good and would suit my build. I'm also taken by the 'second generation' one:

I tried an NOS XC (pictured below) which I also use on my mountin bike and love ("Top Normal"). I think the kink in the outer plate is enough to snare the crank though.

Digging this up, since thinking of converting my sun xcd to triple with TA, since the Sun XCD rings are impossible to get these days.

Possibly really stupid question but I have a Mavic 810 front mech, would this work with a triple if run friction?

The front mech is really the last thing I need to sort that I can easily source myself for by next build, so any advice would be much appreciated.

It's a late 70s Japanese frame being built up in classic French and Japanese Cyclotourisme style so need something that will fit with that and of course work well with the 50.4 bcd crankset.
