Frame restoration

Evening Chaps,

Well, I bite the bulit and got a retro MTB.

Frame condition wasn't as good as I hoped so I've got a question.

The lacquer has lifted/gone in places how can I get this looking better?

I've never had this problem to such an extent as before?

Nice Haro there. I have the identical model. What forks are fitted?

I'm unsure of the forks, some crappy ones which will be upgraded for some Rock Shox

Would this be a sandblast and powder coat job????

I think you are going to have to nitromors the frame to remove the lacquer and then polish by hand.

I like the look of the hi-viz.

I've got a haro bmx 3pc crank, is fitting a bmx crank difficult?

I think you may find the bearing shells are too big and in any case they are push fit.

Is there conversion kit that can be bought?
