Fox Vanilla 125 RL Parts For Sale and Blue OUTLAND DH Bars

Old School Hero
Hi,

I've got a few parts from my 2002 Fox Forx Vanilla 125 RL's to hopefully sell on as I damaged the damper cartridge due to a bad case of 'ham fist'........ I tightened the nut on the lower of the damper too much and it sheared off.... bad times.

I've also got some used 25.4 OUTLAND DH bars in blue with a few marks - 680mm - £8 posted.

There is wear on the stanchion which was there when I got them but I serviced them and put new seals in them and they didn't leak so they may be of use to someone.

The lowers are OK though plenty of marks.

I also have all 4 springs available - I definitely can see I have a red and blue rated spring but its a bit unclear with the other 2.

As for prices:

Lowers - £20

Stanchion/ Steerer (215mm long) - (not expecting loads of dosh due to wear) say - £15

Springs - £8 each but could do a deal for all 4.

Damper Cartridge and spacers (broken so spares only) - £10

Open to offers/deal for 'parts packages'.

Cheers

Re:

I wish you'd posted this a day earlier! I acquired a pair of siezed not working 125 RL's for a tenner with the same stantion wear, but mine is worse in the lower non visible leg. I bought a purple spring from Mojo yesterday as I bottomed out the black one that was in there from a 3 foot drop.

Can I have close ups of the crown please? Might want that as mine is scruffy, also yours is longer so it might be a good part to have in reserve in case they go on another bike.

Also, how old are the seals? I was thinking of getting new seals, but if yours are fairly new and well looked after I may be better off buying the whole lowers.

Cheers

Re:

Hi, I'll sort some photos out this evening.

I've used the seals on the forks I replaced these with, sorry.

Re:

I've taken some photos of the crown, please see below.

There are no gouges just paint rubbed off and they could be touched up - the biggest mark is on the rear of the crown.

The steerer is 215mm long.

As mentioned above I've used the seals in the forks I bought to replace these as they were leaking.

The lowers are chipped/marked too but structurally sound with the worst chips being near the dropouts - use and age related.

Cheers

I'll definitely take the crown, have you got the preload and damper caps too? What price wouldy pu do for the whole lot of so? I love my 125's and half thinkinga bout grabbing all the spares I can.

Cheers

Re:

Hi, I sold the caps to a fellow member a little while back. I guess I could do £45 for the whole lot including postage, any good for you?

I'd rather the parts go to someone who is going to get some use out of them.

They were good forks just a shame I broke them.

I think I'll take the crown and green spring, which I think is the one above the blue? Been having issues with the forks bottoming out, ordered a spring from Mojo and they've sent me the wrong one twice now so I'll call it quits and have yours.

PM me your payment details and I'll sort it out, cheers.
