FOUND: JONES Frame / Frameset

As per the title: I'm interested in a Jeff Jones frame / frameset.

Steel only, I'm afraid, as the Ti is a bit spendy.
And it should already be within the EU.

Framesets / bikes come up regularly in the US. Sadly, the ridiculous costs of shipping / VAT / import duty / and the recent currency exchange rates all make that a non-option.

Weekend bump.

Crappy luck. Three strikes, so far.
1. Too slow: F&F already sold.
2. In discussion with seller, but F&F sold overnight to a buyer in a different time zone.
3. Retrobike member has decided to keep his Jones (a wise decision).

Anyone else?

Weekend "this is looking like a fail" type bump.

4. Potential seller has gone quiet for the last 6 weeks (busy moving house, which is understandable);

5. U.S. seller offered a great setup... but shipping / insurance / EU import tax / and VAT would have doubled the price :shock:

Wow... those Jeff Jones bikes, they're a bit like buses: Nothing for ages, and then suddenly three come along at once.

Bigwheels2 and Gotama: Thanks a lot for your PMs. I literally sorted out a frame/fork etc. this afternoon. It's not as nice as either of your set-ups listed on STW, but it will certainly do the job.
