Realy realy great IRD fork!!! Nice condition and super rare.
Just one comment - Are you sure the steerers are original? Its just that I think those type of steerers could potentially slip through the crown.

looking at that drawing It's type 1 fork crown, the drawing simply shows the race from the headset That you may be using from what I can see.
Certainly no risk of anything falling through.

Looks like type 2 just has 3 options for steerer diameter.

As to my understanding, its not the race of the headset. Its a part of the steerer, tailor made for the IRD fork. By that, the steerer lies ON the crown.

Yes I see but they look all to be type 2 with the 1 1/8" crown, my forks are type 1. Do you have any pics of a type 1 steerer that differs to the one I am selling??

The forks I have are 1" crown so no sleeve like in the pics for type 2 as only design for 1" looking back at the original drawing.

If the 1" did come with a sleeve then I don't have it but not sure how that could work anyway as it wouldn't fit in the headset or crown as the crown is 1". Like I said, no issues with these steerer.

No offence and im sure, it will work with you steerers also. The 1" Type 1 model looked like that.

And yes the forks do work with the 2 steerer it's being sold with, as they are all its been used with.
