Forks for a GT lightning build?

I'm lucky enough to have a GT lightning to build. I'm probably going to go m952 xtr, but that's not set in stone as I'm indecisive.

The fork is a conundrum though, hoping to get some opinions from the sage en massive.

I was initially thinking of bounce. I have some mint rc39s which were my initial plan, but have also got some rigid, segmented Saracen forks I would paint plack for the build. Segmented forks do look good.

Also considering exotic carbon, retro fox (though I do have some fit damper ones with v mounts), or even noleen linkage.

Help an indecisive fella with your thoughts, even if they aren't any of the above.

The forks that are truly synonymous with GT's of that era are Rock Shox or GT bologna.

I'm not one for period correct, open to opinions on what might look the part, won't mess up the ride and would wear the frame and potentially non-period parts nicely.

My RTS team has a set of 32mm sid worl.cups for example. Much better than anything the era offered and look at home on it.
