Also the first rockshox and proforx use the bonty crown/style setup too.


Then similar copies by other companies with the twin bolt clam style, bonty/tange/rockshox then moved on with the design.

Bontrager crowns tended to be black (or faded purple as they are now), but not always.

Also the one you have are a bit bulkier all over.

That inflation pump looks like " nurse deaths" ideal weapon of choice!

I don't know why they kept that design going as they wore out quickly and the luer lock style connection of the syringe itself doesn't seem to be luer lock.
The later black rigid useful style was much better, not sure when it came but after 1994 as this style, but with air release button, still came with it.
