Fork advice for 1996 kona

I'm looking for some suspension forks for my project cindercone/lava dome/cinder dome!!
The bike came to me with a set of rough RSTs. I've been looking at Marzocchi bomber z2, pace rc36, etc and have stumbled into a bit of a mine field! My budget isn't much £55ish, any ideas? They need to be 1 1/8 and have a steering tube at least 210mm. I would get a pair of p2s but they seem very expensive and I've got those on my 89 cinder cone so fancy a suspension fork. Any recommendations or be aware ofs would be appreciated, thanks

I would say if you’re not willing to pay a lot you’ll not get a great set. What about some marzocchi dirt jumpers. Marketplace is a good place to search

Any of the rockshox early 2000s forks with motion control damping (recon, reba, Tora) would be ideal. They pop up cheap on FB marketplace fairly regularly, and are easy to service at home if you need to. That's what I'd be looking for if it were mine.
