*Some parts may be a different model of campagnolos groupsets of that time.
I'm not an expert for Vintage Bike parts. There are simply too many to know them all.
So excuse if I may unintentionally named the wrong model name.

I'll respond as quick as possible.

Special Thanks go to Midlife and anidel (who stressed the hell out of me) for helping me to find the right Model name of the frame.

Re: Vintage Viner Cromovelato Oro Steel Bike - Nuovo Record

Never seen a cromovelato Viner before, unusual finish over the chrome and no stars.

Sure looks good in the sunshine though :)

Re: FOR SALE: Vintage Viner Cromovelato Oro Steel - Nuovo Record

Somebody said, it is the model above the Cromovelato. But to be sure I stick with the Cromovelato.

It hast one big, no way of not seeing it, red star "pantografato" on the original stem. Everything alright with your eyes?

Re: FOR SALE: Vintage Viner Cromovelato Oro Steel - Nuovo Record

Stem can be Viner, but frame doesn't seem so. I see so no pantograph on it. No star or VINER engraving.

Also this is not a Cromovelato paint at all.

It's a mix & match of parts from different times, the paintjob doesn't look original at all, I thin the Viner stickers have been applied afterwards to make it look like a Viner.
The "original Eroica bottocages" also seems something weird, too thick, colored red to match the modolo brakes.

Frame is nice, from the 70s, but I insist is not a Viner and the whole bike is definitely not worth £900.

"Vintage Experts"

There is pantograph on it. Top tube in the photo of the stem.
It has Viner written all over the place.

And in one thing you're right: It's value is far more than 900£. Thanks for that constructive contribution.
Just take the single components and add them together. You'll be over 900£.

Cool down, drink a cup of tea. Nobody is trying to cheat anybody here. Vintage bicycles aren't a science.
Too many years passed by to be a 100% correct.

Admire the bike. Be nice. If you're seriously interested write me a private message.

Cheers

Re: FOR SALE: Vintage Viner Cromovelato Oro Steel - Nuovo Record

There is no Viner that I can see except the STEM and the decals. That doesn't make it a Viner.
Viner has a star where yours as hearts.

I am cool already. You're trying to sell something that is not worth £900 EVEN if it was a Viner, which it isn't.

Lastly, it is not Cromovelato.

Re: FOR SALE: Vintage Viner Cromovelato Oro Steel - Nuovo Record

Just for info here is my 70's Viner with star cutouts in the lugs and on top of the fork crown.

Re: FOR SALE: Vintage Viner Cromovelato Oro Steel - Nuovo Record

Exactly, that is a Viner. Yours, OP, is not. I only hope you really didn't know.

Re: FOR SALE: Vintage Viner Cromovelato Oro Steel - Nuovo Record

Not it is not:

(from the same page, conveniently you only took the one where the stars can't be seen)

http://velobase.com/Velos/ViewExample.a ... 6&Enum=226

rule is pretty easy, no star, no Viner. You're a liar, go sell your crap somewhere else, or get yourself back and stop cheating on people here.

Also, I insist, it is not a cromovelato.
