My frame looks exactly like the one above pictured..

Would love to see it!
Have been looking for a Ti Marin from the Helfrich/Merlin era.

Re:

Agree with above, that bike needs to be seen please. Gary H's first Ti mountainbike frames were made in his home basement in the early 80s and his first reveal in 1985, with the first Fat Chance Titanium.

Re:

Dont know for sure though. I will make a picture soon. But by the looks with no rear cantilever bracket and no cable mounts for rear brake on top tube i think it comes close. The one thing i know is its a very old marin ti frame.. some say it was built by litespeed. When i bought it it had no decals. No canti bracket and no cable mounts to the rear brake.

Re:

This is my very early Ti Marin. As you can see it looks very similar to the one on Photo. You can see there are black pvc cable mounts sticked on the top tube.. Still need to mount rear brakes though. It is without top tube cable mounts and without cantilever bracket. I bought it 2nd hand without decals. There are early numbers engraved on the rear pad built by Litespeed.

Thats all I know.
So im not sure if and what year my Marin is but when i saw this ad i thought hey this is close.

Re:

As i look closer I think its not the same.. The downtube on the one advertised looks smaller. And the rear mech bracket looks different. By the looks.

But I am happy with my Marin.

I am going to rebuild this one like the 94 Ultimate.
Love the way that one was built. Great components.

The list for now:
-Manitou Three
-Titec 118 ti bar
-Marin Lite stem
-Mavic 230 Rims
-Topline crank
-White industries hub
-M900 stuff...
