Fitting Kona P2 29" fork on 26" Genesis IO?

Hello,
As per the title I have a 26" Genesis IO frame and need a new set of forks.
The original forks have an axle to crown measurement of 450mm.
I can get my hands on some 29" Kona P2 forks with 465mm axle to crown.
Would the combination work fine or are there any issues from the 15mm difference I'm overlooking? I was thinking that 15mm in height difference shouldn't impact the ride feel too much, given that I'm mostly on roads.
Any advice welcome.

I'd go for it. 15mm is a bit like running a slightly bigger front tyre...

I'll raise the bottom bracket by a bit (About 6mm or so I reckon), and have an almost negligible slackening of the headtube, but again I'd not be too concerned.

I quite like doing things that weren't quite intended with stuff like this...
